A long time ago....in 2014 I posted a build for Wolverine...this is essentially that same core bleed build in spirit updated to use our new toys. Wolverine should be tough to bring down....so this build puts an emphasis on his Defensive, Regen, and Hp on Hit. Makes solo-runs of Cosmic Danger Room simple and will hopefully give him a fighting chance at staying alive on the harder difficulties yet to be released.
Fun, Simple, Mobile, High Attack Speed, Super Super Tanky...Wolverine.
Skills
Simple Rotation: Crimson Leap -> Basic -> Sweep (3 times) -> Eviscerate -> Signature -> Run Through. Fun to chain Run Through on weaker enemies.
Talents
First three rows are all bleed focused. Exploit Weakness for the Run Through bonuses. Need more damage run Savage Instincts...I prefer Feral Surge though to auto trigger Unstoppable Beast.
Attributes & Gear
Sometimes switch between Hydra Medallion or Skrull Medallion of Bravery for 100 hp on hit.
Relic of Lemuria for another 222 hp on hit
Catalyst
Do not underestimate the insane power of HP on basic affixes. Its great on X-23 to. Crit Damage is better sure...but HP on hit is cooler. Finding a catalyst like this isnt easy...but it brings new meaning to the Armor Invasion event.
Pet
Always be on the look out for more Fury...it smooths out the use of Eviscerate and Run Through considerably and lets you spam the higher damage sweep more often.
Legendary (Shield or Excalibur)
Excalibur is a great choice as well for the extra 300 hp on hit.
Shield is just tooo powerful to pass up though.
Its almost 10% of what gets this build to 60% def rating.
Insignia & Uru
More Fury, More Regen, More Boss Dmg...Uru is rare but worth chasing.
Team Up: Wolverine Passive
The regen from the passive can be a life saver...brutal rating is nice as well.
Synergies
Synergies are there to help fill in gaps in stats generally. As a mini-QoL item I like to stack move speed and attack speed.
Infinity
Depends on the gear you have or can find. I use this to get some extra Regen, Fury, HP on Hit, and Attack Speed.
General End Goals:
30% Attack Speed
60% Defense Rating
5k Damage Rating
400+ HP on Hit
100+ HP on Crit
500+ HP Regen per Sec
35% Critical Rating
30% Brutal Rating
800+ Fury
Max out your ultimate and this will more than handle most Cosmic Danger Room Scenarios.
That insane ultimate power is amazing and I am glad I took the time to level it to max.
